OBITUARY Jean Sorrells March 5, 1932 – November 27, 2018 Jean O. Sorrells Liberty – Jean Owens Sorrells, 86, wife of the late James Lewis Sorrells, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday November 27, 2018. Mrs. Sorrells was born in Pickens County, daughter of the late Ivester C. and Grace Ward Owens. She was a homemaker and a member of Elljean Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Pam Sorrells Senn (Delma) and Kim Sorrells Masters (Roger) all of Pickens. Grandchildren include Jason Burgess (Sherry), Justin Burgess (Diana), Jessie Gillespie (Darren), and Kayla Rampey (Dustin), also 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sorrells was preceded in death by her brother Ivester C. Owens, Jr. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Manna Health & Rehab and Palladium Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Sorrells during her last days. The family will receive friends at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 12:30 to 2 PM with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 2 PM. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Easley. A message of condolence may be expressed to the family by visiting www.DillardFunerals.com.
