Obituary for James Howard Mason JAMES HOWARD MASON, age 73, of New Market, TN passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a former teacher and coach in the Anderson County School System, and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Violet Mason. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Mason and husband Andrew Johnson of Louisiana; son, Jimmy Mason of Clarksville; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Private graveside service will be held at a later date and no formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
