Inez Barnett Stephens, 89, of Sevierville passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by husband, William E. Stephens Sr.; mother, Ruby Gilliam Barnett Cohen; father, Fred C. Barnett; 2 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 2 sisters; and 6 brothers. Inez is survived by her children, Sandra (Cecil) Layman, Johnnie Ivey, Shirley (Ermal) Washam, Bill (Wilma) Stephens, Kay (Mike) Newkirk, Buddy (Wanda) Stephens, Pam (Buster) Tarwater; grandchildren, Tina Mount, Jason (Brandi)… Read More » Layman, Lisa Humphrey, Joy (Eric) Havlin, Becky (Sean) Nicholson, Amber Washam, Amanda (Michael) Holahan, Jennifer Romines, Michelle (Steve) Loepp, Brittany (David) Vick, Joshua (Melanie) Stephens, April Moyano, Tiffany Walker; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several step-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willard (Rose)Barnett of Ohio, and J.B.Barnett of TN & AZ; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Joe)Metzger of IL, and Charlene Stephens of AR; half-sister, Rhonda Carroll; special niece, Darlene(Rob) Gibson of VA; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 PM-4 PM Sunday, November 11th with the funeral service to follow at 4 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville with Rev. Danny Murr and Rev. Bill Stephens, Jr. officiating. The graveside service and interment will be held 11 AM Monday at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
