Helen Sorensen passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born November 1, 1927 to Harmon McKenzie Groesbeck and Lilly Agneta Frederiksen. She married Stanley Jay Sorensen April 11, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is survived by her children Stanley Paul Sorensen (Amir), Margaret Ann Sorensen Carr (Russ), her sisters JoAnn Jones and Ruth Hepworth, 3 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Preceeded in death by brothers, Harmon, William and David. Special acknowledgement and thanks to Legacy Village Rehabilitation Center for their kind and loving care the last few days of her very active life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionary fund or the charity of your choice. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery, 803 Base Line Rd., Shelly, ID. A viewing will be held Friday, November 30, 2018, from 6 – 8 PM at Russon Mortuary, 255 S. 200 E. Salt Lake City, UT.
