Obituary for Geneva Gray Lois Geneva Gray, age 72 of Robert Lee Tx, passed away November 25, 2018 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the funeral home with family present from 5 pm to 7 pm. Church services will be at 10 am, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Pecan Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm, at Rough Creek Cemetery in Novice, Texas. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Geneva was born in Tuscola, Texas in her grandmother’s house on August 14, 1946. She married Les Gray December 4, 1962 in Levelland, Tx. Together they were married 56 years and had 3 children. Brenda Kaye Harrison, Les Gray Jr. and Steven Alan Gray. They lived in Monahans, Odessa, and settled in Robert Lee, Texas. Geneva was a devoted wife, mother,and grandmother known as Mimi. She was very proud of the fact she raised three successful children. She had a special gift of never forgetting extended family members birthday’s wanting them to know they were special and loved. She loved traveling in their RV, family gatherings, and cooking. Laughter was a daily part of her life and simple things brought her joy. She was the backbone to our family. She was beautiful and one of the best friends you could ever have. We always turned to mom in good times and bad. Her insight, advice, an unconditional love were valuable to us. The love of a mother is the best feeling in the world and she definitely left her mark. Survivors include her husband Les Gray of Robert Lee, Tx. Daughter, Brenda Harrison and husband Thomas of Midland, Tx. Son, Les Gray Jr and Michael Shoop of Spicewood, Tx, Son,Steven and Minda Gray of San Antonio, Tx. Frankie Arnold of Robert Lee, Richard Posey of Sweetwater, Tx , Jeanie Crawford and husband Jim of Grandfalls, Tx, and James Posey and wife Jimmie of Coleman, Tx. 13 Grandchildren, Randie Corbin, Casey Corbin and wife Kelsey,Cassidy Corbin, Kadin Corbin, Colynn keeling, Allie Shoop, Kamron Crary and husband Eric,Austin and Anna Gray, Greg Robinson and wife Brandy, Kayla and Gavin Gray. 16 Great grandchildren, Noah and Conner Garcia, Raylyn and Stormy Rainwater, Eleanor and Knox Corbin, Layla Hernandez, Layton and Lilly Torres, Nolynn Keeling, Brycin, Tayler and Rylee Crary, Kaden, Emerson, and Koi Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Etta Posey, her brother Don Posey and sister Marie Newman.
