Obituary for Frank L. Rocco Frank L. Rocco, age 73 of West Long Branch, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Frank was born in Brooklyn to the late Carmine and Mildred Rocco and lived in Richmond Hill, Queens prior to moving to West Long Branch 34 years ago. He was a flavor chemist at Robertet Flavors in Piscataway for 17 years retiring in 2013 and a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Church of the Parish of Our Lady of Hope in West Long Branch. Frank served our Country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane Mancuso Rocco; two daughters, Melissa Rocco and her husband Anthony Procopio, Christen Kopiec and her husband Robert; three sisters, Margaret Bickhardt, Linda Cappola and her husband Robert, Camille Henry and her husband Brendan, and two grandchildren, Sofia Kopiec and Bodhi Procopio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15 from 3 – 8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral, Friday; 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Jerome Church, West Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
