Elizabeth C Petrillo 2018

Elizabeth C. Petrillo Waterford- Elizabeth C. Petrillo, 87, formerly of 7 Foot Court, Waterford died November 8, 2018 at the Mystic Healthcare in Mystic. She was born May 5, 1931 in New Haven, CT., the daughter of the late Dominic and Adeline (Brino) Abbato. Mrs. Petrillo was a seamstress for many years and she was the widow of Peter Petrillo whom she married on May 30, 1951 in St. Michael’s Church, New Haven. Survivors include a son, Dominick Petrillo of Waterford; a daughter Anna Gaudio and her husband Joseph of Venice, FL.; a grandson Joseph A. Gaudio Jr. and his wife Carrietta of Coconut Creek, FL., and one great grandson Giovanni Gaudio. Her siblings John, Orlando, Edward and Leonard Orifice, Mary Streeto, Mildred Pisani, Anna Melotti and Eleanor Gambardella predeceased Elizabeth. The family would like to thank the Beacon Hospice team for their care and support they provided to them and their Mother. We are grateful to the entire staff of Mystic Healthcare that gave our mother the respect, dignity and care that she deserved. A special thank you to Attorney Linda Kidder and her staff for the professionalism and attention to detail that they offered to us. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Monday (Nov. 19) at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Church, New London. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum, Jefferson Avenue, New London.
