Obituary for Earnestine Cook Earnestine Cook, 69 of Thorndale, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Seton Williamson County Hospital in Round Rock. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with burial in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation will also be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Earnestine Cook was born August 22, 1949 in Navarro County, Texas to Tommie and Idella (Porter) Cook. She was one of ten children. She moved to Thorndale at a very early age. She and Richard Williams were married. Earnestine worked as a dietary supervisor for a nursing home in Taylor until she retired in 1990. She was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church in Rockdale and had been attending Thorndale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mahoma D. Williams; her parents; two sisters, Josephine Mitchell and Ola Mae Cook; a nephew, Thomas Basey and sister-in-law, Angela Derise Cook. Surviving are, her daughter, Michelle and husband Fredrick Weaver of Fort Worth; her son, Richard T. Cook and wife Yvonne of Thorndale; three brothers, Francis Cook and wife Cherylyn of Taylor, Cecil Cook and wife Margie of Thorndale, Vernon Cook and wife Sherri of Taylor; four sisters, Shirley Mitchell of Thorndale, Tommie Faye Fair of Thorndale, Ethel Cook of Thorndale, Joyce Hodge and husband Rick of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Brandon San Migel and wife Jordon, Stacey San Migel and husband Wesley, Thadaus Cook and wife Valarie, Tamicka Cook, SeDerrick Brooks, Elonte Goss, D’Vaughncee Goss and Dyheshah Goss and 15 great-grandchildren.
