Obituary of Donna Wertenbach Donna C. Wertenbach, 67, the widow of William Wertenbach Jr. passed away November 19, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born January 26, 1951, the daughter of the late Richard and Doris (Cole) Carpenter. Donna worked as the CEO of CEDF, Community Economical Development Fund. She did a lot of missionary work, was very selfless and giving to others was more important to her than anything. She was devoted to her church and loved God. Donna is survived by her daughter Carolyn Wertenbach Bennett, her son Seth Wertenbach and his wife Kylie Stevenson-Wertenbach, and her grandchildren Jayden Bennett, Elijah Stevenson-Wertenbach and Emma Stevenson. A Memorial Service celebrating Donna’s life will be held on Sunday November 25th at 2pm at the Gilead Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 672 Gilead St., Hebron, CT. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial gift to Gilead Congregational Church, 672 Gilead St., Hebron, CT 06248 which will be allocated for mission projects close to Donna’s heart. The John F.
