Obituary for Donald C. Klees Donald C. Klees Hornell Donald C. Klees, 75, 6170 S Hornell Road, Hornell, passed away Saturday (Oct. 13, 2018) at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, in Sayre, PA, after a short illness. Born in Hornell, NY, March 26, 1943, the son of the late Donald E. Klees and Margaret R. (France) Klees. He was a lifelong area resident. He attended Hornell Senior High School. He was a truck driver for Woodhull Cheese and a school bus driver for the Rochester School System. He dedicated his life to taking care of his mother until she passed away and to each of his dogs that were his loving companions. He was also a proud member and supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. He is survived by his faithful dog, Badge, and by his sister, Kathleen (Klees) Silsby of Hornell, two nieces, Catherine (Silsby) Sparrow of Reidsville, NC, and Judith (Craig) Presley of Manassas, VA, two nephews, James (Kyung) Silsby of Theresa, NY, and Gabe Silsby of Aldie, VA, 6 great nieces and nephews, 5 great great nieces and nephews, and his many friends.
