Obituary for Connie Reason Connie Marie Arms Reason, age 64, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4pm until the hour of service at 7pm. Mrs. Reason was born November 9, 1954 in Adams to the late Felix A. and Reba Stuard Arms. She was a homemaker and member of Red River Baptist Church. She was kind and loving and always had a smile waiting for anyone who needed one. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mrs. Reason is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Michelle Reason and her sister, Anneta Douglas. Mrs. Reason is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry L. Reason, Sr.; sons, Jerry Lee Reason, William Alvin Ray (Tracey) Reason and Jeffrey Wayne (Theresa) Reason, all of Springfield; brothers, Ed (Sandy) Arms of San Diego, CA, Wayne Arms of North Hollywood, CA, Randy (Betty) Arms of Springfield and Felix (Terry) Arms of Springfield; sisters, Donna (Frank) MonFette of Cedar Hill, Dianne Eads of Springfield, Helen Rouse of Cedar Hill and Tina (Jimmy Jones) Evitts of Adairville, KY; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
