Obituary for Charles Raymond “Chuck” Weathersbee III Charles Raymond “Chuck” Weathersbee, II, 64, husband of Margaret R. Weathersbee, died Saturday, November 03, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born September 21, 1954, in Austin, Texas, he was a son of the late US Air Force Colonel (retired) Charles Raymond “Ray” Weathersbee and the late Frances Eleanor Maffett Weathersbee. He was a graduate of Furman University and a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of almost 40 years; a daughter, Mary Beth Weathersbee; a granddaughter; a sister, Cindy Gasson (Steve) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Alice Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Clay Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Alice Drive Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Alice Drive Baptist Church, 1305 Loring Mill Rd., Sumter, SC 29150. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
