Obituary for Charles Edwin Droke of Adamsville, TN Charles Edwin Droke was born November 16, 1932 in the Leapwood Community in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Aubrey Rufus and Vadie Iness Moore Droke. He was united in marriage to Emma Marie Barham on June 5, 1958. He was a member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church. He worked for Brown Shoe Company for 18 years and retired from Ripley Industries in Adamsville. Charles enjoyed baseball, dominoes, working in the garden, watching westerns and loved his family. Mr. Droke departed this life on November 30, 2018 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife Emma Droke of Adamsville, TN; nieces and nephews: Jane Qualls, Jean Nelms (Charles) all of Memphis, TN, Judy Coffey (Ken) of Starkville, MS, Charlie Reed (Dorothy) of Oakland, TN, Mike Reed (Donna) of Southaven, MS, Steve Reed (Jeanne) of Pocahontas, TN; 14 great nieces and nephews; and 13 great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Droke was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Wayne Droke.
