OBITUARY Beweeta Joyce Threet Gazaway December 28, 1933 – October 31, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Beweeta Joyce Gazaway, 84, of Bruceville, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Bruceville Community Church, with Pastor Lee Casey and Associate Pastor Lloyd “Bubba” Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor. Mrs. Gazaway was born on December 28, 1933 to Walker Houston and Agnes Leora Threet in Navarro Mills, Texas and grew up in Rice, Texas. Beweeta was married to H.J. “Jim” Gazaway. Jim passed away in December of 2005. She was a seamstress for many years and loved to sew, crochet, cook, color in coloring books, and she loved birds. Beweeta was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gazaway; parents; brothers, Caleb Threet, Billy Earl Threet; sisters, Kitty Ruth Spurgeon, and Linda Holley. Survivors include her son, Michael and wife, LaDonna, Saginaw; grandsons, James Gazaway and wife, Stephanie, Ft. Worth, Danny Gazaway, Shelbyville, Benjamin Gazaway, Thornton, Colorado, Stephen Gazaway and wife, Meghan, Plano, Kevin Gazaway, Jerusalem, Ohio; granddaughter Kerrie Esquivel and husband, D.J., Saginaw; sisters, Nancy Northern, Corsicana, Patsy Knott, Corsicana, Marquita Minick, Corsicana, Sue Heaton, Bellmead; and eight great grandchildren.
