Obituary of Albert Iannucci Albert Joseph Iannucci, age 86, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away (went to be with the Lord) on November 23, 2018. He left behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Generose Jardine Iannucci. Also, his son , Dr. Albert Joseph Iannucci, Jr., daughter-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren Gabriella (Matthew) Steindl, Alexis Iannucci & Luke Albert Iannucci. Al is also the beloved son-in-law of the late Minnie and Dominick Jardine, whom he loved as his own parents. He is also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Marian Brooks and brother-in-law, Joseph Jardine. Al is survived by his brother in law, Chuck Brooks, and several nieces and nephews. Albert graduated from Chester High School, served in the Air Force (Korean War) and worked for Scott Paper for 40 years. He studied at Georgia Tech and was in the 49th Airborn Engineering Battalion. Albert especially loved attending his grandchildren’s activities as they were growing up and took pride in all of their accomplishments. He enjoyed watching classic old movies, and he was an avid reader especially about history. He also loved spending time with his fur grandchild, George. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, 9:15-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Albert’s memory be made to: St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Steeple Re-siding Project, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
