Obituary for Abel Belmares Funeral services for Abel Belmares, 29, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, December 3, at the funeral home. Abel passed from this life on November 29, 2018, at UT Health in Henderson. He was born October 2, 1989, in San Antonio and has lived in Henderson since 1998. Abel was a 2009 graduate of Henderson High School where he played soccer. He loved music and enjoyed singing and playing piano as well as drawing. Abel was a loving uncle and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a member of El Cordero de Dios Bautista. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Pedro Belmares and Luciano del Angel. Survivors include his parents, Gregorio and Teresa Belmares of Henderson; grandmothers, Pascuala Rodriguez of Mexico and Maria Isabel Cervantes of Henderson; brothers, J. Ignacio Garcia del Angel and wife Daniela Kuncz of Henderson, Timothy Titus Belmares and wife Perla Garcia of Tyler, and Nicholas Rodriguez Belmares and wife Daniela de La Paz of Longview; sisters, Maira M. Garcia del Angel of Henderson, and Mayte E. Vazquez and husband Osvaldo of Henderson; and nephews and nieces, David, Jairo, Jehu, Alan, Jayleen, Marjorie, Zymbriah, Libby, Mia, and Leila. Pallbearers will be Gregorio Belmares, Tim Belmares, Nick Belmares, David Guerrero, Osvaldo Vazquez, and Jairo Vazquez. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Highway 80 Rescue Mission at 3117 W. Marshall, Longview, TX 75604. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
