Zola Ewan Hudson, 85, left her earthly home on October 20, 2018 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Zola was born April 24, 1933, to Roy and Mary Lee Almany of Bristol, Virginia. She met the love of her life, Bob Hudson, while attending Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida. They were married on September 13, 1958. Zola was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Cleo Perdue (Gene), Gladys Tinsley (Harold) and Garnett Ducar (John). She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bob Hudson; daughters, Ewan Patterson and Angie Jones and her husband Mike; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer and Wade Moore, Brian and Amy Fullbright, Kristi and Ethan Wade, Katie and Brenden Marz; 6 great-grandchildren who loved their Nannie with all their hearts, Kaylin and Chloe Moore, Hunter and Hudson Fullbright, Winnie and Millie Wade. She also leaves behind an extended family of nieces and nephews who provided loving care to her after her stroke in May. Words are inadequate to express how much it meant to us when our Lakeland family stepped up to assist with her care. Zola’s family was truly the light of her life, second only to the love of her husband and the Lord. A family memorial will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home in Midwest City.
