Xander McGhee 2018

Obituary of Xander McGhee Baby Xander James McGhee was born on October 4th at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie. He was 26 weeks along and weighting a little over a pound. He fought hard before being taken home to be with the Lord and those family members who have passed on prior to him on October 17, 2018. Xander is survived by his parents: Shaughn and Rachael (Archer) McGhee of Russell; his older brother, Kole McGhee; grandparents, Jim Jr. and Cathy Archer of Guys Mills, and Sig and Barbara Case of Frewsburg, NY; great grandparents James Sr. and Rosemary Archer of Centerville; aunts and uncles, Ryan and Samantha Robertson of Morrisdale, Austin Votee of Guys Mills, and Nicholas and Andrea Frye of Pittsburgh; He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Votee and Grandfather Daniel McGhee. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Saturday from 2 to 4 PM with a funeral service to follow conducted by Rev. Glen Van Cise, pastor of the Chapmanville Community Church, officiating. A private interment will be in East Troy Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend a dinner following services in celebration of baby Xander. Memorial contributions may be made to NICU at St. Vincent Hospital 232 W. 25th St., Erie, PA 16544 or to Grady’s Decision PO Box 9343, Erie, PA 16507.
