Obituary of William Lilly ROCKFALLS- William “Bill” C. Lilly, 83, of Rock Falls, died Thursday October 25, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Bill was born February 7, 1935 in Whitby WV, the son of Estel and Mary Elizabeth “Bessie” (Heath) Lilly. He married Marrietta Franks on May 18, 1956 in Rock Falls, she preceded him in death on January 31, 2006. Bill was the founder, owner and operator of B&D Home Supply. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his family. Survivors include two daughters Brenda (Terry) Fredrickson, and Lori (Tod) Reynolds both of Rock Falls; four sons Kerry (Dee Dee) Lilly of Tucson AZ, Mark Lilly of Rock Falls, Tim (Crystal) Lilly of Morrison, and William J. (Lynne) of Tampico; one brother Ronald Lilly of Sterling; one sister Mae (Lloyd) Johnson of Ottawa; twenty one grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; and special friend Delores Whitlock. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Lisa Lilly; two sisters Mozella Polk, and Ruth Johnson; three brothers Bob Lilly, Roy Lilly, and Clinton Lilly; one grand-daughter Lisa Lilly; and a son-in-law Ron Harris. The funeral is at 10AM Saturday November 3, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, with Dalmus Meeks, officiating, and burial to follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Visitation will be 4-7PM Friday November 2, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation.
