Obituary for Walter Lancaster Walter “Walt” Lynn Lancaster, 51, of Paden City, WV drowned Sunday, August 5, 2018 as the result of a kayaking accident. Lynn was born July 8, 1967 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Walter Loal and Norma Lee (Bennett) Lancaster. He was a shift foreman for Marble King in Paden City. He attended Valley High School and he loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, football, kayaking and NASCAR. Surviving are his significant other, Sharon “Sherry” Anderson of Paden City, WV and her three children, Ryan (Asia) Anderson, Michael (Jessica) Anderson and Sharon Anderson; brother, Billy (Annie) Lancaster of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Helen (Bill) Earley of New Martinsville, WV and Sally Getts of Wileyville, WV; three grandchildren, Kaelyn, Aubree and Mason Wright and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends received 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, where service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018. Burial to follow in Straight Cemetery near Reader, WV. The family is asking for help with the funeral cost.
