Virginia J. Robb 96, of San Angelo went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday October 2, 2018 in San Angelo. Virginia was born August 1, 1922 in Conroe, Texas to Hugh and Dezzie (Brock) Wall. The oldest of five children, Virginia grew up in Lufkin, Texas and graduated from Lufkin High School. After High School she married a wonderful man, Roy E. Robb on February 22, 1940. They settled in Houston, Texas where they made their home and raised two boys, Roy and Ron. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, friend, and caring Mother who enjoyed being a homemaker for her family. Virginia went to work for Wide Lite when her sons were in junior high school and spent almost 20 years with the company. After Roy E. retired and Virginia retired they moved to Lake Buchannan, where they spent all their retirement years. Virginia loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherwoman when the white bass were running, she also loved shopping. In her younger years, she loved playing tennis, skating, extended bike rides and basically just being outdoors. Flowers were very important in her life and she loved gardening and growing flowers in her yard. She was very active in her church in Kingsland, Texas as well as any other Bible study in her area. The Order of the Eastern Star was very important and she served as Worthy Matron of several chapters across Texas. Virginia also served as District Deputy Grand Matron for an area of Texas for two years. Her life and legacy of love and faith in the Lord will live on in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss her! Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy E., 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by sons who adored her, Roy K. Robb and his wife Kay, of San Angelo and Ronald G. Robb and his wife Sylvia, of Georgetown, Texas: her 4 grandchildren, John Robb and his wife Patricia of Denver, Colorado, and Amy Robb of Dayton, Ohio, James Robb and his wife Brandy of Austin, Texas and Joel Robb and his wife Gillian of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton, Texas with Carroll Duke officiating. The family requests memorials be made to West Texas Boys Ranch.
