Obituary for Violet Marie Witt Violet ‘Marie’ Witt, 74, of Christiansburg, passed away on October 28, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Bourne (J.R.) and Genie Proffitt; grandsons, Michael and Jason; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Irene and Mary. There will be a visitation on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with the Funeral Services to begin at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
