Obituary for Ula Mae Cantrell Hargis Ula Mae Cantrell Hargis, 86, of Anderson, claimed her Victory in Jesus October 26, 2018. She was born on August 19, 1932 in Allred, Tennessee. She was a Minister’s wife, wonderful mom, caregiver, homemaker, and friend to all. She was a member of Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to garden and read. She was an avid Pacers, Colts, and Peyton Manning fan. Ula Mae is survived by her children, Vicki (Doug) Noah, Diane (Mark) Looper, Denise (Rick) Maultra, Neal Kirby (Lisa Marie) Hargis; grandchildren, Serenity, Douglas, Crystal, Amanda, Magdelyne, Shelby, Kimberly, Kristin, Jordan, Stevie, Darcie; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Carl) Scott, Harold (Jean) Cantrell, Harmon Burns Cantrell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Reba Cantrell, Aline Carr, Elise Dulworth, Peggy Bilbrey, Johnny Hargis, Phyllis Faux, several nieces, nephews and her namesake, Mae Mae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edward Hargis, parents, Kirby and Bertha (Ledbetter) Cantrell, sons, Keith Edward Hargis, Mark Alan Hargis; sons-in-law, Mickey Christ, Scott Douglas, Jr.; grandson, Michael E. Christ; great-grandson, Gabriel Reed; siblings, Susie Smith, Bessie Carr, Illa Carr, Ross Cantrell, Doyle Cantrell, L.E. Hammock sister-in-law, Vaudia Boswell. Visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson, IN. Services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018, 11:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Roysden officiating. Burial will take place in the Pleasant Walk Cemetery, Anderson.
