Obituary for Thomas Canada On Sunday, October 7, 2018, Thomas A. Canada, age 75 of Avalon, beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Caruso) Canada; father of Cansa T. Jay, Jasmine Caruso (Emily) Zimmerman and Bianca Caruso; grandfather of Joel, Sydnie and Logan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A retired Professor and Counselor at CCAC, where he was co-founder and director of the Act 101 program. Thomas devoted his life to empower others through education. His exuberant and heartfelt passion for education was only eclipsed by the love and devotion that he had for his friends and family. Friends received Sunday, October 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am.
