Shelia Elaine Bush, was born on March 5, 1971 in Grove Hill, AL to the parents of the late Sammie Bush, Sr. and Shirley Bush. Shelia was a member of the Jackson High School Aggie Women Basketball team and a graduate of the Jackson High School class of 1990. For many years, she served as manager of JHS Basketball Booster Club Hospitality. Coaches, referees, players and school administrators looked forward to Ms. Shelia’s “southern home-cooking”. “Kaye” (as she was affectionately known) was an avid food prepareer and caterer. Kay’s Kitchen passionately provided meals on wheels. She was employed by numerous restaurants and food service entities, She will forever be remembered for delicious meals, main dishes and desserts. She loved sports (especially football and basketball). She found relaxation in fishing. She actively participated with the local NAACP. Shelia was a member of St. Paul AME Church. There she seved in many servant’s capacities. On Sunday, September 30, 2018, Shelia transitioned to her Heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Bush, Sr.; Grandparents; Champion Sr., Anna Mae Jackson, Dewey Bush, Delphine Jackson; sister Margett Bush and godson, Darius Adams. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted daughter, Iesha Bush, a loving and devoted mother, Shirley Bush; brothers, Will (Jean) Mason; Gwyan Jones and Sammie, Jr. (Shelia) Bush; sister, Linda Armstead, Tara Bush, Carolyn (Jimmy) Powell, Carolyn (Skip) Cave, Diane Chapman and Darlene (Barry) Wilson. A host of aunts and uncles; Cynthia and Mary Jackson; Mattie Williams, Vickie (Clent) Brown, Emma Washington, Patricia Williams, Wendell (Debra) Jackson, and Obert (Adell) Jackson, godchildren; Antavion and Tytianna Crayton, Andrew Williams, Porsha Green and Jeremiah Brown, devoted cousins; Kathy Mason, Rev. Lee Bush Jr., Dennis Jones and Shanecka Brown; devoted friend Sylvia Adams and host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
