Life Story for Sheila Self Sheila R. Self, 72, of Kewanee, Illinois, formerly of Madison, passed away at 7:35 AM Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home. She was born August 29, 1943 in Montebello, California, the daughter of Woodrow and Elna Marie (Bell) Self. Sheila worked as an accountant for Sears and Jim Hadley Chevrolet. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Kewanee. She had also been a former member, elder, deacon and treasurer of the Madison Presbyterian Church in Madison. She enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include three brothers: Ronald (Barbara) Self of Carson City, NV, Duane (Donna) Self of Beaver, OR, and Jerry (Janet) Self of Boulder City, NV; three sisters: Dawna Self and Bonnie Wendler, both of Lamirada, CA and Deanie Reid-Cazier, of Elton, WI: her special family, William (Elizabeth) Stephens of Bristol, RI and Mary (Steven) Stoner of Collinsville, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Emily Stephens. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Madison Presbyterian Church. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. They can be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
