Obituary of Samantha Matusaitis Samantha Paige Matusaitis, 22, of Farmingdale passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at home. She was born in Rahway and lived in Freehold Township before settling in Farmingdale. Sammy had a great sense of humor, was big-hearted and loved by all who knew her. In her younger years, she played Freehold Travel Soccer, and later loved shopping. Sammy enjoyed spending time in New Hope or at the beach in Long Beach Island. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Ronald C. Matusaitis. Sammy is survived by her father, Ronald Matusaitis of Farmingdale; mother, Denise Matusaitis of Freehold Township; brother, Michael Matusaitis of Farmingdale; sister, Jessica Matusaitis and her partner, Bob Brown of Waynesboro, VA; paternal grandmother, Loretta Matusaitis of Toms River; maternal grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Esteves and his partner, Patricia McCarthy of Hillsborough; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Esteves of Manchester; uncle, Scott Esteves and his wife, Danielle of Gillette; two aunts, Beth McClelland and her husband, Michael of Brick and Linda Russo and her husband, Phil of Westfield; cousins, Katelyn, Nate and his wife, Kate, Stephanie, Nick, Philip, Erica and Matt; and second cousin, Quinn. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to be held at 7:30 PM.
