OBITUARY Sallie Woodson Hall August 9, 1965 – October 14, 2018 Sallie Woodson Hall, 53, of Martinsville passed away on October 14, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1965 in Danville, VA to Fred V. Woodson and the late Eliza Ramey Smith Woodson. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Richard Wayne Hall; son, Drewry Woodson Hall; daughter, Virginia Madison Hall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Patsy Hall. Sallie was a graduate of Salem College in Winston Salem, NC and worked as an interior designer. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Martinsville and a member of the Martinsville Garden Club. Sallie was also a very devoted volunteer at Carlisle School. She devoted her entire life to loving and caring for her parents and her children and her family. She did everything possible to make those around her feel loved, appreciated and to always feel good about themselves. The funeral service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Martinsville at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 and will be officiated by Reverend Russell Ingersoll. A private burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held at McKee-Stone Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
