Robert W. Barclay, 80, of Lehighton passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Luke’s Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital in Lehighton. Born in Lehighton he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Margaret (McCormick) Barclay. Robert worked as an Insurance Adjustor for Erie Insurance in Bethlehem for 35 years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehighton and was a member of the Beaver Run Road & Gun Club. Robert was an avid Eagles, Phillies and Penn State Football Fan and enjoyed his grandchildren and life-long friends. He is survived by Helaine Barclay, Daughters; Wendy wife of Jim Hauser of Franklin Twp., Lori wife of David Andreine of Elmira, NY and Kelly wife of John Flanagan of Middletown, VA, Son; Michael husband of Kristin of Virginia Beach, VA, Brothers; Richard of Lehighton and Ranny husband of Doris of Mahoning Twp., Grandchildren; Mitch and Michael Pados, Mylee Hauser, Garret and Ali Andreine, John Michael and Jack Flanagan, Chase and Greer Barclay, Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his Brother Roddy. Private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
