93, of Cranston and formerly of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston. Pietrina was the wife of the late Pasquale Gatta. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Perseo and Assunta (Cecconi) Giansanti. Pietrina is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and was the dear sister of the late Antonetta Soscia and Kenneth Giansanti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000- Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
