Obituary for Pat R. Bingham Services for Pat R. Bingham, of Chariton, will be Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will follow at the Chariton Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lucas County Boy Scouts Troop 149. Pat was born January 8, 1951 to Eldon and Margaret Curtis in Chariton, Iowa. She was one of four daughters born to the couple. They were raised in Chariton, Iowa and attended Chariton High School. Pat graduated with the class of 1970. In 1976, Pat was united in marriage to Mike Bingham. The couple was blessed with three sons: Bill, Scott, and Jamie. Pat worked as a CNA for thirty years to help support her family. She took great pride in taking care of others. Pat enjoyed watching old TV shows, like Bonanza. She loved to read, shoot guns, and volunteered for the Boy Scouts for many years. Above all else, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren brought her great joy. Pat passed away October 17, 2018 at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband, Mike Bingham; sons: Bill (Lisa) Bingham, Scott (Tara) Bingham, and Jamie (Kelli) Bingham; 12 grandchildren: Brynlee, Kolter, Haleigh, Jocelyn, Jace, Noah, Eric, Angel, Autumn, Alex, Abby, and Aubrey; mother, Margaret Curtis; sisters: Pam Davis, Peggy (Paul) Peterson, and Kathie (Leo) Stevenson; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon; brother-in-law, Gene Davis; brother-in-law, Dennis Bingham; and her parents-in-law, Bill and Marjorie Bingham.
