Norma Jean Cannon, 80, of La Junta passed away on October 21, 2018 at the Fowler Health Care Center. She was born on January 9, 1938 to Robert & Helen Alyce (Yarnell) Dawley. She married Carroll Cannon on June 3, 1956; he preceded her in death on December 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael Cannon and sister, Laura Jane Brack. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Lou Ward officiating. Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, PO Box 408, La Junta, CO 81050 or the United Methodist Church, 601 San Juan Avenue, La Junta, CO 81050 direct or through the funeral home.
