OBITUARY Michael “Mickey”” Giarratano September 22, 1930 – October 28, 2018 Michael “Mickey” Giarratano passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at 88 years old, with all his family at his side. Mickey was born September 22, 1930 to Tony and Anne Giarratano. He married the love of his life, Josephine (Josie) on October 7, 1950. Mickey is survived by Josie and their four children, Joseph (Brenda), Mike (Melissa), Nino (Brenda), Marianne; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mickey worked at the Pueblo Army Depot and the Government Printing Office before retiring in 1990. He was an avid fast pitch softball player, as well as officiated high school basketball and baseball. He was inducted into G.P.S.A. Hall of Fame and Softball Association Hall of Fame. He enjoyed every moment with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church.
