Melissa J. Young, 56, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Wausau. She was born in Menomonee Falls on December 2, 1961 to the late John and Janet Graebner. Melissa married Grant Young and together they had two children, Samuel and Katherine. Melissa had an eye for design and beauty. She was a seamstress and was very passionate about quilting. She loved everyone she met and had a special place in her heart for her cats; Tom, Jerry, Calico and Chambray. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Melissa is survived by her children, Katherine and Samuel; the father of her children, Grant Young; sister, Selene (Greg) Lofquist and her two nieces, Becky and Olivia. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 5304 North 44th Ave, Wausau. Pastor Dan Sire will officiate.
