OBITUARY Mary Cromer Kluge October 26, 1923 – October 26, 2018 Mary Cromer Kluge, 95, of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018. She was the wife of John Frederick Kluge. Born on October 26, 1923 in Barlow, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cleason Henry Comer and the late Margaret Kemper Comer. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s and the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cara Shaw. Mary is survived by her husband, John Kluge; daughters, Martha Harry, Yvonne Ernst, and Christina Richards (Dennis); 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Cromer and Eugene Cromer; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A chapel service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle PA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in Carlisle, PA.
