Mary Ann Best, age 63, of Lampasas, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Temple. No services are scheduled at this time. Mary Ann was born in Scottsbluff, NE to the late Harold and Ethel Lay Floth on May 5, 1955. She graduated from Guernsey High School in Guernsey, WY in 1973. On November 8, 1973, she married Leon Best in Guernsey. Mary Ann was the manager of the American Legion in Torrington, WY for many years. She received her Associates Degree from Eastern Wyoming College in 1991. This lead her into working for Wyoming Ethanol where she enjoyed being the office manager for over 20 years. In 2016, she moved to Texas to be with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Best and her a brother, Faye McIntosh. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Dusty Best, Wendy Best and TJ Best; sister, Ruthie Hurdt; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Dillon, Kacee Best.
