Obituary of Martin Moore, Jr. Martin J. Moore, Jr. passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton. He was born in King of Prussia, PA, and raised in Freehold Township. After living in the city for a number of years, he returned to his childhood home where he remained until the time of his passing. Marty was a graduate of the Freehold Township High School Class of 1976. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Manasquan, Freehold Borough First Aid Squad, and a volunteer of Freehold Township Fire Department. Marty was an IT consultant for BAE Systems in Mount Laurel for 16 years. He could be described as strong-minded, witty, giving and generous. Marty was also a handyman and had his own company, D & M Contractors. He was predeceased by his father, Martin Moore; mother, Muriel Moore; and sister, Mary Burns. Marty is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Moore of Freehold Township; son, Jonathan Moore of Baltimore, MD; stepson, Kevin Mangiere and his fiancée, Diana Galietta of Matawan; sister Maureen Vollbrecht and her husband, Randy of Howell; niece, Valerie Vollbrecht and her fiancé, Kyle Brown of Roxbury, MA; and his four dogs, Molly, Harley, Davidson and Angel. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate Marty on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 4:00 PM at 618 Restaurant, Park Avenue, Freehold.
