Marie C. Barrasso ( Massaro) of East Boston peacefully on October 25th. Marie was born in boston on July 10, 1925 to Anthony and Fannie (Picardi) Massaro. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas. Devoted mother of Nicholas Barrasso and his wife Gail of FL. Cherished sister of Anthony Massaro and his wife Ann of Andover and Frederick Massaro and his wife Marion of Winthrop. Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Marie’s life by gathering on Thursday November 1st at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St (Orient Heights) East Boston from 9:00 AM to 10:30AM before leaving in procession to St. Joseph – St. Lazarus Church East Boston for a funeral mass in celebration of Marie’s life at 11:00AM. Services will conclude with Marie being laid to rest with her beloved husband Nicholas in Holy Cross Cemetery may they both rest in peace. Marie was an avid Bingo player for over 50 years. She volunteered at many of the bingo’s and fondly will be remembered as a staple at the Don Orione Bingo in East Boston on Tuesday nights.
