WARREN: On September 27, 2018 God reached out and took her hand to lead her home. And He lifted her to His side and with her hands she touched the face of God. Margaret Ann Rose Jones “Peggy” was born February 13, 1929 in Youngstown to Pastsy Arcomano & Carmel (Disalvo) Arcomano. She attended Youngstown schools and graduated from Chaney High School. In 1951 she was united in marriage to Robert E Jones. She worked at Northside Hospital and then after moving to Warren spent her career working as a medical transcriptionist at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, retiring after 31 years of service. Peggy’s greatest joy in life came from her family. She loved being a Mom and entertaining her three girls. She spent many hours cooking and baking for them. The aroma in the air made their mouths water in anticipation when she was making her sauce, meatballs and cookies. She loved Christmas when the house was filled with people and laughter, lights and decorations, presents, and of course, food. She derived great pleasure in sending everyone home with kolache and cookie trays. Once asked how she wanted to be remembered, she replied “I am no one special. I loved God and my family with all my heart”. Her family disagrees as she was someone very very special to everyone who knew her. Besides her husband, Bob, she is survived by 2 daughters Patti (Eric) Herttua and Robin Showman; her grandchildren Robert Brady, Joe Brady, Melissa Helberg and Ashlee Baca; 6 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and her brother-in-law Kenneth Jones. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Jones; grandson, Ernie Brady Jr.; son-in-law, Dave Showman; her parents; 5 sisters and 6 brothers.
