McHugh, Margaret Gloria (Maggie) On the morning of Friday October 26, 2018, Margaret Gloria O’Connor McHugh, 36 years young passed away suddenly at her residence in Middleburg Florida. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert O’Connor and sister, Elizabeth O’Connor Sangster. Margaret is survived by her loving husband James McHugh, their two wonderful children, Maddison and Owen McHugh, mother Maureen McKenna O’Connor, sisters Cassandra O’Connor and Kathleen Vernace and countless other family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly. Margaret was born in Bayshore New York in 1982 and was the youngest of four sisters. She grew up in South and Central Florida and lived in Japan for a few years before meeting her husband of five years in Connecticut then moving back to Florida to be closer to family. Margaret loved music and felt most at peace when she was at the beach and around water. She had a zest for life and passionately loved her family and children unabated. With her unique, attractive looks and bubbly personality, those that crossed her path were instantly drawn to her. She was a dedicated mother, wife, sister and friend to many. She recently started work for the Florida State Prison as a Correctional Officer.
