Ms. Mamie Morgan, age 94, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain (Marietta, Georgia). Ms. Morgan was born on July 12, 1924 in Cherokee County, Georgia to Thomas Roper and Minnie Phillipps. Prior to her passing, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Turner; her son, William F. “Bill” (Lela) Roberts, Sr.; her grandchildren, Annette (Branson) Locklear, Donna (Troy) Waits, Susie (Glenn) Allen, Stephanie (Terry) Origer, Betsy (Rob) Stephens, Ricky Sexton, Tina Soullier, Trina Poole, Penny (Wallace) Hawkins, Charles Terry (Kim) Ragsdale, Jr., Charles William Ragsdale, Shannon (Tonya) Ragsdale and William F. Roberts, Jr.; numerous great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Ms. Morgan will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 1:00PM at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 4:00PM – 8:00pm and also on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. All visitations will be held at Benson Funeral Home.
