OBITUARY Lubell Ashton August 8, 1932 – October 18, 2018 Lubell Ashton was born on August 10, 1931 in Conroe, Texas to parents Henry and Ada (Bender) Smith and entered into eternal rest on October 18, 2018 at the age of 87. Lubell was very adventurous; she loved traveling, fishing and camping. She enjoyed playing card games, 42, sewing and working puzzles. Lubell worked for Texas Instruments for 18 years. She got along well with everyone and would do anything to help someone out. Lubell loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was active in her community retirement home. Lubell would sew blankets and knit items for charity. She was an amazing lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lubell was preceded in death by her parents, husband E.Z. Ashton and sisters; Mary B., Lilly and Barbara “Jean”. She is survived by her brother Johnny Smith and wife Linda of Quinlan, son Mike Sherman and wife Karen of Mesquite, daughter Linda Adams and husband Sam of Mesquite, son Bobby Ashton of Mesquite, grandchildren; Michael Sherman, Brandy and Scott Henderson, Greg and Amy Adams, Joey Adam and fiancé Mindy Ross, Jeremy Ashton, Brandon Ashton and Brandy and Kori Hanlin, great-grandchildren; Michael, Stormy, Shannon, Kaitlyn, Tanner, Hayden, Ashley, Ava, Alicia, Haley and Madison, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
