Louella C. Thompson, 87, of Washington, WV died Saturday October 27, 2018. She was born in Smithville, WV a daughter of the late Henry and Lorene (Scott) Barker. She was a homemaker and member of Edgelawn United Methodist Church. She was a member of Wood County CEOS and volunteered for Indoor Sports and Merry Makers. She is survived by two children Melanie Thompson of Washington, WV and Alan Thompson of Parkersburg; and three grandchildren Tate, Zachary, and Brooklyn Thompson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Thompson and son Billy Thompson. Services will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial donation may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. A special thank you to her caregiver Andrea Kidwell for her love and care, and to Andrea’s daughter Ava for the joy she brought to Louella.
