Obituary for Lottie Pearl Summers Lottie Pearl Summers daughter of Harson Edgar and Verna Ethel (Mushrush) Mauzy was born October 22, 1922 in Salem, Missouri. She entered into rest on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 95. Pearl married Arie Angules Summers on May 10, 1941 and to this union three children were born. Gerald Eugene Summers, Joyce Evelyn (Summers) Courtney and Alfred Arie Summers. Her life was spent in Salem, Missouri except for 20 years that she lived in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a housewife and mother. In later years she was known for her hand quilting and was a lover of Gospel music. She was a member of the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Jerry) Summers and wife Christine of Salem, Missouri, Joyce (Summers) Courtney and husband Bill of Fenton, Missouri, Alfred (Al) Summers and wife Donna of Lecoma, Missouri; sister, Ermadean Padgett of Florida; sister-in-laws, Maryln Mauzy of Holt Summit, Missouri a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Verna Mauzy, husband, Arie Summers; brothers, James (Jim) Mauzy, Charles (Hutch) Mauzy, Bob Mauzy and Lloyd Mauzy; sisters, Alice Williams, Bessie (Wallis) Bowerman, Lois Click and Hazel Green; daughter-in-laws, Barbara Summers and Michaelene Summers. Funeral services for Pearl Summers will be held 12:00PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Mt. Hermon Methodist Church in Salem, Missouri with Pastor Gaye Lynn Blankenship officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to services from 11:00AM – 12:00PM. Interment will be held in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flower to the Mt.
