Obituary for Linda Hodge (Hambright) Blacksburg — Mrs. Linda Diane Hambright Hodge, 63, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018, at her home. Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hambright Jr. and Selma “Cat” Martin Hambright. Linda previously worked as a custodian at Road King and was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Hodge are two daughters, Crystal Mathis and Marie Hodge; a son, Billy Hodge; a sister, Kim Duckett; three brothers, Buddy Hambright, Leonard Martin, and Jerry Martin; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Hambright. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 31st of October, 2018, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 PM at Clingman Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jamie Billings officiating. Robert Estes, Wendell Sutton, Tracey Hall, Jeremy Judd, Frank Cotner will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Epilepsy Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, 8301 Professional Place East, Suite 200, Landover, MD 20785. The family will be at their respective homes.
