Lester O. Grimes, 88 Wasilla, AK / Brookfield – Lester O. Grimes, 88, of Wasilla, Alaska and formally of Brookfied died on Monday, October 1, 2018. Lester was born in and grew up in Brookfield, and has lived in Alaska for over 60 years. He worked in general construction, and was a rugged outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and did woodcarving as a hobby. Mr. Grimes is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps., serving during the Korean War. A Memorial Service for Lester will be held at 11AM on Satuday, November 3, 2018, in the Brookfield Congregational Church, 8 Central Street, in Brookfield.
