Leonard Charles Balogh, 74, of Jefferson City, previously Morristown, TN passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2018 after an extremely courageous battle with cancer. He was a man of faith, and attended Greeneā€™s Chapel and Mountain View Church. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, amazing grandfather, and faithful friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zoltan and Bernice Balogh; Brothers, Greg, Eugene, and Daniel Balogh; Son, Louie Balogh; and Grandson Chakotay Byrd. Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Carol Balogh; Children, Lenora Balogh, Leonard (Dania) Balogh, Laura Balogh, and Lynnette (Richard) Shaft. Special grandchildren, Brittney (Shaun) Allender, Johnny Newman, Graham Balogh, Kieran Byrd, Makayla and Alexis Balogh, Armando and Adrian Gonzalez, Celine Trueblood, and Audrie and Conner Shaft. Great grandchildren, Harrison and Adelind Allender, and Ava Gonzalez; sisters, Bernadine Murdock and Marcia Trojanski; Also, several specials nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial will be from 3 to 5 P.M. Saturday, November 3 at Allen Funeral Home, 200 Jaybird Rd, Morristown, TN 37814. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to New Hope Recovery Center, 233 West Main St, Morristown, TN 37814.
