LaVon Carmen (Kennedy) Yeske, 92, of West Salem, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Lakeview Health Center, West Salem. She was born May 7, 1926 to the late Carl and Sarah (Horwick) Kennedy in Sparta, WI. LaVon married Harley Yeske October 4, 1947. Harley predeceased LaVon on May 12, 1992. LaVon is survived by her son Wayne (Diane) Yeske of Bangor; her daughter Nancy (David) Thompson of Onalaska; two granddaughters, Kelly and Kendra Thompson; two step grandchildren, Eric (Kayla) Dock and Courtney (Bill) Morrison; One great grandchild; Six step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. A private burial will be held in Rockland Cemetery. Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
