Obituary for Judith R. Johnson On October 27th Judith (Judy) Rae Johnson passed peacefully to her heavenly home. Judy was born on April 15th, 1949 to Edmund and Diana Andersen. Judy married Darrell Johnson April 14th, 1976 in Sarasota, FL. Together they had two daughters, Melissa and Amanda. Judy worked for many years as a stay at home mom. In 1996 she graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, fulfilling her dream of becoming a nurse. Most recently, Judy was employed at Bethany Home of Waupaca before she took a leave of absence to care for her health. Judy was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and found strength and joy in praising and serving the Lord. Judy had a great love of family and animals, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, fur babies, and extended family. She was always eager to offer a helping hand with watching the grandkids, share her Danish background through baking special Scandinavian treats, and go on trips to the zoo or playground. Judy is survived by her children: Dr. Melissa (Scott) Serwe and Amanda (Jesse) Patt; grandchildren: Madeline, Spencer, Amelia, Henry, Kit, and Ivy; a brother Wayne (Marge) Andersen; a brother-in-law Wayne (Darlene) Johnson, many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Darrell, parents Edmund and Diana Andersen; sisters Evelyn (Clarence) Behnke, Audrey (Vernon) Bundick, Betty (Earl) Thompson, and Marian (Gene) Moe, and brother Don Andersen. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Andy Behrendt will officiate with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Monday November 5, 2018 from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. with a Nightingale Tribute at 6 P.M. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Visitation will also be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
