John J. Callahan, of Ambler, formerly of Roxborough, October 29, 2018. Age 87. Survived by his wife, Frances Callahan (nee Quigley), he is the father of Patricia F. Gallagher (Brian), Margaret Scroger (Tim) and the late John Callahan. Grandfather of Mark, Timothy, Erin, Caitlin and Shawn . Great-grandfather of Owen and Jackson. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 146 Rector Street, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Notre Dame.
